Originally, supplying wire and wire tying machinery to the Pulp and Paper Industry worldwide, Ovalstrapping, in 1978, introduced a line of high speed, high quality polypropylene strapping equipment. Originally designed to meet the needs of high speed and durability for the Newspaper and Magazine industry, this line was later expanded into other industrial applications which also demanded high speed and durability. We have since sold these high speed strappers worldwide, and due to their longevity, the majority of them are still in use today. Subsequently, our engineering department has continued to make significant technological advances to provide a line of the fastest and most reliable strappers available to the packaging industry today. This being the foundation, we were pleased to introduce the next generation of high speed and durable polypropylene strapping machines in June of 1997: The Strapmaster.
For over fifty years, Gerrard-Ovalstrapping has been a leading innovator for strapping and, with a wide range of equipment, we are able to serve a variety of customers from newspapers to binderies, the meat and poultry industry, the postal service, food industries, woodworking industry and the pulp and paper mills.
